With all our new made-to-measure sofas, we offer a large range of designs. We can even build something especially designed for your needs. Our fabric range includes all the top brand names, and you can even choose your type of cushion fillings to create a sofa that is absolutely yours!

We believe in care and attention to detail with antiques. They would be re-upholstered in the traditional manner, with hair and fibre stuffing, and wood re-polished to its former glory. Finishing touches are important: the wrong choice of studs or braid could ruin a beautiful piece of furniture.

Working within existing schemes, reupholstering an old sofa can give a whole new look to a room, which we can enhance by adapting curtains or blinds and adding cushions or a lamp.

Andy is the main upholsterer. He specialises in antique and quality furniture, restoring in the traditional manner. Clients may have a few pieces and want them reupholstered to fit in with a new interior look. They want them upholstered with a fabric that’s hard-wearing and usually scrubbable. We have a huge fabric library to choose from.
For example, some clients want Parker Knoll chairs restored, because they are well-made, sturdy pieces of furniture. They want to keep them rather than replace them with modern furniture; people get attached to them. And it’s becoming harder to find quality furniture these days.

Boat Fly deck: Boat seats - boat seat covers - restoration projects

This client required a new look for their boats fly deck cushions, which had not fared well from exposure to sea and sun. Contrasting panels and piping were decided upon, using marine quality vinyls, and ply where required, ensuring that all joins and seams were as waterproof as possible. They were delighted with the end product!
